Aussie Millions Winner 2007

After six days, 746 eliminations and a heads-up battle that lasted over two hours, Gus Hansen was declared the 2007 Aussie Millions Main Event Champion, winning (Aus) $1.5 million! He was presented his winning cheque by Howard Lederer.

After receiving his cheque, Gus, who is from Denmark had this to say; “I don’t know how much that money is. I use a different currency, this is my first time to Australia and you can say this has been a pleasant week.”

This is how the final winner’s table payout went: -

1. Gus Hansen $1,500,000
2. Jimmy Fricke $1,000,000
3. Andrew Black $700,000
4. Julius Colman $500,000
5. Hans Martin Vogl $400,000
6. Marc Karam $300,000
7. Kristy Gazes $220,000
