Bodog Announces July 'Mini Poker Series'

While much of the attention of the live poker world remains focused on Las Vegas, online poker players at Bodog have an alternative once July rolls around – it’s Bodog’s “Mini Poker Series,” with the champion of the series final walking away with a $12,000 seat package to the 2010 WSOP.

The series consists of 13 different low buy-in events ($10+1 each) running on consecutive days from July 3-15, 2009, followed by semifinal and final events to determine the eventual winner. The top 30% of finishers in each event will earn tournament series leaderboard points to rank players for the semifinal on July 21st.
 
The semifinal is open to players who play in either seven or more of the preliminary events, or finish in spots 11-50 in series leaderboard points, with the top 18 players in the semifinal moving on to the final. The top ten players on the series leaderboard qualify directly for the July 23rd final.
