Hollywood Star Touches Down in Oz

One of the world’s most high profile actors Michael Vartan will arrive in Melbourne tomorrow to attend one of the richest poker events.

The Hollywood actor has confirmed he attend the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championship and compete for a slice of the AUD $17 Million plus prize pool, including playing in the coveted AUD$10,500 No Limit Hold’em Main Event on Sunday 18th January, that has a guaranteed first prize of AUD$2 Million.

Vartan is no stranger to major poker tournaments, having played all across the world. The actor is a serious poker player, probably as a result of his friendship with WSOP Champion Joe Hachem.
