The other thing to keep in mind is that going from free games to real cash games isn’t as simple as it sounds, players often feel over-confident that they’ve learned all there is to learn about online poker, and may end up in a higher limit game than they are ready for.

One of the absolute best ways to improve your game to the next level is to take part in single-table tournaments, which encourage you to focus entirely on your game and enjoy the challenge.
